Example use case
Buying second-hand remotely
Before travelling or buying, request the precise shots the listing doesn't show.
The situation
You spot a second-hand piece of furniture, a bike or an appliance several hours away. The listing shows a few photos, but not the condition of the points that matter to you.
Useful photos to request
- Overall view, front and back
- Plate or label showing the model and serial number
- Close-up of wear, scratches or any repairs
- The appliance switched on or working, if relevant
- The accessories included
With PikPlease
- You create a request with the list of shots, and an instruction when a shot needs clarification.
- You send the link to the seller through the messaging app of your choice.
- The seller takes the photos with their phone, without creating an account or installing an app, and sends them in one go.
- You look at the photos before deciding whether to travel; a shot can be retaken if needed.
The limits
- The photos show what was photographed: they do not replace an inspection in person.
- PikPlease checks neither the seller's identity nor the item's origin.
Possible example, for guidance only: adapt the list of photos to your needs.
